RVSM Monitoring Experience
A key component of RVSM implementation is monitoring the height-keeping performance of
aircraft that have been approved for RVSM operations. Monitoring directly supports the
safety assessment and safety oversight function that is required with RVSM implementation.
The experience of the monitoring staff at CSSI, Inc. encompasses scheduling, data collection,
and post-flight data processing. CSSI technicians have conducted over 4,000 monitoring flights
worldwide.
Current Monitoring Operations
To ensure high quality monitoring services to operators, the International Air Transport
Association (IATA) elected to have management and technical services provided by a
support partner. CSSI, Inc. was chosen by the airlines as the support partner because of
the vast RVSM experience of our staff and our cost-effective monitoring process. CSSI,
Inc. is conducting monitoring and training for monitoring flights for RVSM implementation.
These flights can be performed in any country or region.
